Christine Barbier, the 2016 Miss Seychelles has left her mid-ocean islands to travel to Washington DC in the USA for the 66th Miss World Final that will be taking place on Sunday , 18th December 2016 at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Maryland Washington DC.
Miss Seychelles was on the same flight between Seychelles and Dubai with Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine and this was an opportunity for the island's Minister to wish Christine well at the 2016 Miss World Pageant in Washington.
"It was great opportunity to sit and discuss with Christine on the Seychelles – Dubai sector of her long flight to Washington. As I wished her well and all the success I also said that she was the chosen one to fly our island's flag at this years beauty pageant" said Minister St.Ange who was heading to Dubai for a working visit last week.
Christine Barbier will be joined in Washington by the Seychelles Tourism Board Officials closer to the pageant night.
